PAC-LVTI
PAC-LVTI (Langue, Ville, Travail, Identité / Language, City, Work, Identity - Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès & Université Paris Nanterre) is coordinated by Anne Przewozny-Desriaux, Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès. The project, launched in 2011, aims at the sociolinguistic description of language in urban contexts, notably in Toulouse and Manchester, two urban centers that have a similar aura/influence in France and England respectively. Marseille (FR) and Sydney (Aus) are currently under study.
Methodology
The PAC-LVTI protocol is now the common protocol for all the PAC surveys as it notably includes a questionnaire about language, city, work and identity which can be used as a basis for the formal/semi-guided interview.
If you are interested in using the copyrighted PAC-LVTI protocol for your fieldwork, feel free to contact us to enquire about PAC membership.
